Tahsildar (MRO) Vijaya Reddy burnt alive in her office
In a gruesome incident, a woman Tahsildar Vijaya Reddy was allegedly burnt alive inside the MRO office in Abdullapurmet.
Vijaya Reddy was set on fire and killed on Tuesday at her office by a man called K Suresh reportedly over a long-pending land dispute.
She died on the spot while Two employees including a driver, who tried to save the Tehsildar were also injured.
According to Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, K Suresh entered the chambers of MRO Vijaya Reddy around 1 p.m. and poured petrol on her set her ablaze with a lighter.

A case was registered against Suresh under IPC Section 302 (murder) and 307 (attempt to murder).
A person named Suresh burnt Vijaya Reddy #MRO at office of Abdullahpurmet from #TelanganaState she died. Due to delay in registry of Suresh’s land. Vijaya has two kids and her husband works as a lecturer. Rachakonda police said that Vijaya was the first tahsildar of Abdullapurmet Mandal.
